Attending Milan Design Week for the second consecutive year has ingrained within me a cherished tradition of immersing myself in the captivating realm of design excellence. This prestigious event serves as a veritable melting pot where visionaries, from seasoned designers to budding architects, converge to unveil their latest creations, trends, and groundbreaking innovations. Each year, Milan Design Week transforms into a bustling hub of inspiration, a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence and creativity within the field of design.

As I navigated through the labyrinthine displays and exhibitions, I found myself awestruck by the sheer diversity and ingenuity on showcase, each booth a testament to the boundless imagination of its creator. It is an experience that not only invigorates my passion for design but also reaffirms my commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity in my own endeavours.

Time Space Existance

Biennale Architettura

The Land Remembers

Earlier this year, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on a special project at the Biennale, namely the Lebanese National Pavilion. As an architect, I have always wanted to explore and learn from everything around me, and even now that I am focusing on filmmaking and photography, I still want to stay close to architecture. And the opportunity to work for the Lebanon Pavilion was a wonderful opportunity for both my career and my passion. It also gave me a chance to practice and prepare for a future where Vietnam might have its own national pavilion in Venice.

The Lebanon Pavilion is named “The Land Remembers,” which tells the tragic story of southern Lebanon, where the ecosystem is being destroyed by war crimes. When I first learned about the project, I thought it was similar to what happened in Vietnam, where our land was also devastated by chemical toxins such as White Phosphorus and Agent Orange, which still leave lasting scars to this day.

The land remembers, the land carries memories, the land is strong and resilient. Studies have shown that even when damaged by war, the land still remembers and is always ready for seeds to grow again… At the Pavilion, the idea is of dry earth bricks, mixed with straw and seeds, and after the exhibition ends, these bricks will be taken to Lebanon and buried so that the seeds inside can help restore the land there.

During the event, the doctors visited the SkinCeuticals booth, where they explored the brand’s groundbreaking products and learned more about its scientifically proven skincare solutions. The booth became a meeting point for passionate discussions on innovation and patient care, showcasing SkinCeuticals’ commitment to elevating the field of cosmetic dermatology.

From insightful training sessions to discovering the latest advancements in skincare, this video captures the excitement, professionalism, and collaboration that defined their IMCAS experience.

MingGiangCraft | SuperDesign Show 2024

This video showcases Minh Giang Craft, a renowned Vietnamese manufacturer and exporter of natural and lacquer handicrafts, as they brought their stunning creations to the world stage at the SuperDesign Show during Milan Design Week. Based in Hanoi, Minh Giang Craft specializes in beautifully crafted interior pieces, including lacquer trays, boxes, and other small furniture items, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.

As part of the Vietnam Pavilion, Minh Giang Craft represented the richness of Vietnamese artistry alongside other distinguished brands. The event provided an excellent platform to introduce their exquisite products to international buyers and design enthusiasts, highlighting Vietnam’s unique craftsmanship and innovative spirit.
